FET held a beach cleaning activity on October 25. A total of 110 employees and their family members went to Shijiao beach in Wanli District to clean up the beach garbage, record the data of marine risk factors, and establish the safety rating list of the whole Taiwan beach, hoping to reduce people’s risk of getting injured on the beach.

FET held the 2020 Supplier Exchange Conference on October 29, which was personally presided over by President Chee Ching. With "Protect the earth, let love spread" as the main axis, more than 100 suppliers were called on to join in promoting sustainability development.

On October 9, the competition was broadcast live on the outdoor square of Taimao Shopping Center with zero time difference through 5g signal for the first time.

The Taiwan- Japan Science Technology Forum was held on September 28 at the Chiang ShuoJie International Conference Hall of Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research with the theme of “digital innovation and prospective medical treatment”. FET president Chee Ching delivered a speech on "The future of medical treatment with 5G - remote diagnosis and treatment practice application sharing".

FET was invited by the Kaohsiung Municipal Government to join the "Kaohsiung 5G smart city" industry alliance. On September 26, FET president Chee Ching and Mayor Chen Qimai of Kaohsiung City signed a letter of intent on 5G cooperation, announcing that they would jointly build an open cooperation platform “industrialization of 5G".

Far EasTone telecommunication has completed the establishment of aynomi love Nan'ao in Nan'ao township of Ilan County and Peinan and Peinan in Peinan township of Taitung County. It has digitalized education, health care, tourism and other aspects, reducing the digital gap and improving the quality of life of tribal people.
