FET, Asian University and Trend Micro Incorporated jointly build 5G smart medical application

        FET, Asian University and Trend Micro Incorporated signed a MOU on November 3, announcing the joint efforts to build 5G smart medical care applications. In the future, the three parties will develop 5G smart medical applications, including acute and severe hemodialysis mechanism, remote diagnosis and treatment and emergency medical service and so on, in the Asia University Hospital through FET 5G network and Trend Micro Incorporated’s information security protection technology.

        FET is the only two companies which owns 80MHz 5G bandwidth, and has built the first 5G remote diagnosis and treatment in Taiwan. Trend Micro Incorporated provides an integrated network information security solution for 5G private network -Trend Micro Mobile Network Security. In combination with the artificial intelligence and innovation technology of precision medicine of Asia University Hospital, the three parties will jointly import IoT medical equipment and 5G communication in the medical field in the future.

        The MOU was signed by Zeng Shiyuan, executive vice president of FET enterprise and international business group, Cai Jinfa, President of Asian University, and Hong Weigan, president of Trend Micro Incorporated. The three parties work together to develop 5G vertical field with the most innovative technology, marking a new milestone for smart medical treatment.
