In preparation for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the site was requisitioned and converted into a Japanese Pavilion by the government; after the Expo, the land was released again, because it is located directly in front of Bailian Jing Wharf on the Huangpu River, and can communicate with Shanghai Disney by water. In addition, it is adjacent to the Expo Axis, the China Pavilion of the World Expo and the Mercedes-Benz Cultural Center Pavilion. It has an advantageous geographical position and can be regarded as a collection of commerce, culture and entertainment. Transportation as a whole, is a hot area for the headquarters of internationally renowned enterprises. In order to buy the land, Douglas Hsu not only participated in the bidding in person in 2012, but also participated in the planning and design in the early stage of construction, the selection of materials in the construction process and the progress of the project. We hope to build Far Eastern Group's first headquarters building in the mainland on this meaningful base.
The new building covers an area of 40,126 square meters, and is under the responsibility of Yuan-Ding Industrial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. of the Group. Far Eastern Group provides design, Far Eastern Construction Co., Ltd. supervises construction, and Far EasTone Telecommunication layouts intelligent buildings. Among them, B1 is an employee restaurant, B2 and B3 are planned as parking lots. In view of the fact that there is only one Expo Avenue between the building and the Huangpu River, in order to strengthen the link between the building and the natural environment, the project team specifically refers to the concept of Suzhou gardens, and designs a transparent winter garden along the entrance of the river bank, and uses spray and lighting techniques to create the morning and evening riverside atmosphere. Walking in the meantime, you can see the waterfall jumping in the forest, with the evergreen vertical green wall, which enriches the sense of spatial hierarchy.
The progressive bamboo forests on both sides of escalators make people feel like entering a dense forest. Take the escalator to the reception area and group exhibition area on the 2nd floor. Apart from having a rest and conversation among the green treetops, you can also enjoy the excellent Huangpu River view. Employees and visitors can then go to the relevant floors through the intelligent reception and management process. Make "smarter" energy-saving buildings by careful calculation
Apart from the architectural style and the harmony with the surrounding natural landscape, Far Eastern Group Continental Headquarters also has the connotation of low-carbon green. In order to prevent the new building from becoming a power-eating monster, the project team specially designed a central monitoring system, which can intelligently adjust the indoor temperature, air quality, and the start-up and operation time of the mainframe of each system to reduce unnecessary energy consumption. In addition, energy consumption can be counted by energy meters installed in cold and hot water pipelines, and cold and heat sources can be controlled to save energy consumption and operating costs.
In the use of water resources, besides setting up domestic sewage drainage system and rainwater drainage system, selecting water-saving equipment such as faucets and toilets that meet the requirements of green buildings, renewable energy is also effectively utilized. Solar hot water system is used to provide office toilet and gymnasium shower water. At the same time, waste heat generated by summer air conditioning is recovered as preheating of return water. In order to reduce the energy consumption of the initial heating water temperature. Not only that, the building also recycles the roof rainwater and air conditioning condensate of the skirt building. After treatment, it can be used for cleaning parking lot floor, first floor outdoor greening, road cleaning, water supplement and other purposes.
