Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls always upholds the expectation of Douglas Hsu, flexibly uses the space inside and outside the venue and creates gathering capacity. Since its opening seven years ago, more than 2,000 activities have been held and more than 300 activities of different scales/types have been held each year. Among them, more than 400 public welfare activities have been held, and beneficiary groups have reached 220 with influence throughout Taiwan and Asia.
Promoting Quality Education
Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls has long promoted music and literature education, provided space for all ages to show their talents, and helped countless groups glow around the world. The Big City Street Art Festival, which is well-known, brings together more than 300 top performers in Taiwan each year to let creators bravely pursue their dreams through performances. Through Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls, Hsinchu held four consecutive "Pure Vocal Music Festival" to allow more than 20 groups to sing songs in their native languages. Hsinchu's KGB Street Dance Troupe, which is regarded as Taiwan’s honor, assisted by Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls, has the resources of practicing dance and organizing competitions. And travelling expenses were given to go to France and they won the 8th World Hip-hop Team Competition and the 2nd place in the Individual Competition. The honor team of National Hsinchu Girls' Senior High School, one of the best honor teams in Taiwan, was not only sponsored by Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls, but also performed on New Year's Day and National Day in Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls, strengthening confidence in participating in national competitions; Miaoli County's Houlong elementary school ring pulling team, which combines traditional quintessence of Chinese culture with acousto-optic technology, has won successive World Championships in the international ring pulling contest under the sponsorship of Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls; successive "Competitive Cup Overlapping Competition" held by Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls is the dream of all the students participating in the national competition, and good marks have been achieved for many times. Every year, more than 25 schools with more than 500 students perform in turn in the Hsinchu Campus Art and Literature Season, including: the Puppet Theatre Club which promotes Taiwan culture, the brother and sister who repeatedly wins gold medal in the International Style of Ballroom Dancing Competition... In just seven years, Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls has become Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli's preferred venue to promote multi-quality education, accompanying countless students to grow up.
Partnership for the goals
Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls, with the goal of actively connecting and integrating resources from all walks of life, adheres to the principle of people-oriented, injecting positive energy of love and care, not only cooperates with the International Association for the Promotion and Exchange of Hawaiian Guitar, but also with 1000 Ukrainian Carnival for six consecutive years, so that Taiwan can exchange talents with other countries. Four activities that have cooperated with Kuen Tai Cultural and Educational Foundation for many years have been widely praised. Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls is always the largest book-raising unit in the “Reading Carnival”, “The Youth’s Voice Competition” attracts more than 100 groups of orchestras every year, singing about the enthusiasm for young lives. In addition, “Teenager Photography Exhibition” and “Children's Painting Exhibition” encourage and accompany children during their growth. Furthermore, Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls has also worked with Catholic Teresa for a long time to provide living and teaching materials, charity funds, create the only little volunteer experience in Taiwan, which convert service hours into credit scores. This concept not only helps schoolchildren to go to school smoothly, but also increases self-control and self-confidence through contacting people.
Intentionally Creating Multiple Platform Acting on the International Convention
Since 2016, Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls has promoted pure vocal chorus A Capella through music performance and teaching, using natural human voice as a medium of inheritance of native culture, cooperating with Taiwan Acoustic Education Association in the exchange of local ballads and Polish ballads. The largest A Capella Art Festival in Asia, “Vocal Asia Festival”, was held with Kehua culture and education foundation. Hakka ballads were injected into the performances and courses of international masters, attracting more than 3,500 lecturers, trainees and performing groups from 14 countries around the world. During this period, more than 1.8 million people were involved, and the vision of creating a platform to be in line with international standards was fulfilled and let the world see Taiwan through music.
