Far Eastern Department Store spares no effort in caring for children. Taoyuan Far Eastern Department Store cooperates with the Dandelion Hope Foundation from April 25 to May 31 to raise funds for the education for children in the rural areas. On June 8 Hsinchu Far Eastern Department Store joined hands with Miaoli County Special Education Care Association to hold charity bazaar on the Dragon Boat Festival. Tainan Far Eastern Department Store invited 30 disadvantaged children and their parents to have lunch with Mayor Huang Weizhe at the Hotpot restaurant on June 27. On July 4, Kaohsiung Far Eastern Department Store joined hands with the tribute sugar brand to distribute 300 bags of tribute sugar to children in the rural areas.
