Four companies won the first "SGS CSR AWARD" , adding honor to the FEG's CSR

        SGS, an international validation organization, held the "2019 Annual Conference on enterprise management sharing and CSR award ceremony" on November 15 at the International Conference Center of National Taiwan University Hospital, in recognition of the enterprises committed to sustainability development and having outstanding performance. The four departments of Far Eastern Group are far Eastern Department store, far EasTone telecommunication and Pacific SOGO Department Store won the "annual sustainability Elite Award", and far eastern New Century Corporation also won the more difficult "CSR Organizational Governance Excellence Award", which can be regarded as a model of the industry.

In order to recognize the achievements of high-quality enterprises in introducing the new ISO version, SGS has established "ISO plus award" since 2016, and has praised 17 exemplary enterprises with outstanding performance in various fields, and has brought rich and wonderful sharing to Taiwan enterprises. Continuing the spirit of "ISO plus award", SGS held the first "SGS CSR Award" this year. The evaluation method is to select outstanding enterprises in the field of sustainability by internal recommendation, domestic and foreign awards evaluation, and by referring to the top 35% of the evaluation results of corporate governance, the review committee awarded the "annual sustainability Elite Award". For the more difficult "sustainable Excellence Award", after the first stage of the above-mentioned screening and the second stage of the final election, a review committee composed of cross domain experts was selected to select 10 enterprises in five major categories who are deeply engaged in sustainable and outstanding performance. It is not easy for far eastern New Century Corporation to stand out in the "CSR Organizational Governance Excellence Award".
