FET won the "Smart City Innovative Application Award"

FET and the Urban Development Bureau of Taipei municipal government have joined hands to introduce the AIoT platform into the social housing of Nangang machinery factory, which integrates artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud technology to create an innovative residential operation mode, and it won the 2021 "Smart City Innovative Application Award" and is expected to be awarded at next year's smart city exhibition.
Zeng Shiyuan, Executive Vice President of FET enterprise and international business group, said that smart city is an important trend of national development in the future. FET has experience in the implementation and management of more than 400 government ICT projects. The award is "big data + AI + IOT (big data, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things) of FET. In the future, we will continue to give full play to our expertise to help partners build a new face of smart city.
Many buildings already have central control systems, which are operated and managed by personnel. In the social housing of Nangang machinery factory, Internet of things (IOT) platform is set up on the central control system to store data at all levels, import machine deep learning algorithm into it and use cloud computing to realize the application of artificial intelligence, and then hand it over to the central control system to execute the orders, optimize the system services in the building, so as to achieve the intelligent prediction of reducing energy consumption and improving efficiency.
The AIoT platform of the social housing of Nangang machinery factory can establish a prediction model based on the past electricity consumption records of residents, and provide the warning that the electricity charges of residents may exceed the standard in the current month, as well as the alarm of abnormal electricity consumption. The artificial intelligence will continue to learn and optimize according to the feedback of residents, so as to reduce the overall energy consumption of the community.
In terms of community public facilities, AIoT platform can optimize the air conditioning equipment or other power facilities control according to the indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, historical data of facility control parameters with the time price optimization. It pursues the minimization of electricity charges on the premise of not affecting the user experience, and avoids the large amount of electricity consumption during the peak period of power load.
The AIoT platform introduced by FET in the social housing of Nangang machinery factory adopts innovative design. The projects that need immediate response and linkage in the community are deployed on the field host to ensure the stability of the system, while the related functions of efficiency optimization are deployed in the cloud and operated by artificial intelligence. Cloud computing can be flexibly used in training model, which is unnecessary for the community to build a high-standard physical host in the community management center, and the community does not need to bother to maintain high-standard equipment, so that all residents can enjoy the convenience of smart technology houses, and move towards the goal of energy conservation and carbon reduction.
