Far Eastern Department Stores in Series Responds to Arbor Day, Inviting People to Reduce Carbon Together

        Far Eastern Department Stores across Taiwan have successively connected their branches to respond to the Arbor Day. Among them, Banqiao Far Eastern Department Stores collaborated with the Forestry Bureau to hold a seedling gift event, introducing Taiwan's native seedlings, answering tree planting questions, and promoting forestry information such as conservation and anti-theft logging; On March 10th, Taoyuan Store, in conjunction with the Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Liver Disease, launched the "Forest Continuously Donating Invoices to Tree Seedlings" campaign, urging the public to pay attention to carbon reduction issues and raising a total of 738 paper invoices; On March 12th, with local volunteers, we went to the trigonometric point of 405 Heights in Dadong Mountain, Guishan District, Taoyuan to hold the "Little Tree Plan - Romantic Spring Cherry Gathering Rabbit Pit" and invited Dr. Zeng Yi from the "Spring City Maoxi Botanical Clinic" to undergo a cherry blossom tree health check.

        The Hsinchu Far Eastern Department Stores volunteer team accompanied the elders of the Hsinchu Leling Social Welfare Group to create exclusive canvas bags by rubbing plant leaves and petals, in response to the spirit of sustainability. Zhubei Branch participated in the "2024 Tree Planting Activity in Hsinchu County", planting small saplings in designated areas and collaborating with the Forestry Department to launch an invoice for sapling exchange activity. 1000 raised invoices were donated to the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation.

        Coincidentally, on March 16th, Taichung City Far Eastern Department Stores also held a "Tree Seedling Baby Gift Activity", which will raise invoices to donate to the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, a consortium legal entity; Tainan Far Eastern Department Stores also participate in the "Longlai Tree Planting Clean Forest Activity" in Tainan City, dedicating themselves to a sustainable environment.
