Far Eastern Memorial Hospital promotes a new future of smart healthcare

        Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has been responding to the government's implementation of Indonesia's New Southbound Plan since 2022, establishing close cooperation with local medical institutions and industries. On December 10, 2024, it signed a letter of intent to promote industrial cooperation in Indonesia with the Industrial Technology Research Institute and the Taiwan Biotechnology and Medical Industry Association, aiming to integrate smart hospital technology and industrial resources, assist in improving the local medical industry level, and promote the entry of Taiwan's medical and health industry supply chain into the Indonesian market.

        In addition, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital also held a plaque unveiling ceremony on December 6th for the "Minglun Day Care Center" located in a suitable residential area in Fuzhou. The center specializes in providing day care services for disabled and intellectually impaired elderly people, and can accommodate up to 40 elderly people. It is committed to creating a safe, healthy, and caring living environment, symbolizing a milestone in the extension of medical resources to the community. Vice Dean Zhang Shuwen stated that through the day care center, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital integrates medical resources into the community to achieve seamless health care.
