Far Eastern Apparel (Vietnam) Ltd. guards the community with clean water

        In Taiwan, clean water is a basic and natural necessity of life. However, according to UNICEF data, 2.2 billion people around the world have no access to safe drinking water. Every day, more than 700 children lose their precious lives due to the lack of clean and safe drinking water. Far Eastern Apparel (Vietnam) Ltd. realized the importance of water resources, especially launched a half year water purification tower project with brand customers, hoping to inject endless hope for the next generation.

        The water supply is mainly untreated groundwater in the location of Far Eastern Apparel (Vietnam) Ltd. due to the lack of resources. After discussion with brand customers, it was decided to set up a water purification tower in Zhenghuaide primary school. The area is close to the border of Cambodia and is a minority settlement. In recent years, Far Eastern Apparel (Vietnam) Ltd. has increased its investment in the area, so there are more responsibilities to take care of the health of its employees and local residents.

        On the day of construction, the employees of Far Eastern Apparel (Vietnam) Ltd. and brand employees gathered in the school to set up the water purification tower. After everyone's efforts, a steady stream of drinking water finally flows out of the water tower smoothly. Seeing the happy faces of the children, everyone's fatigue was gone.

        Despite the completion of the water purification tower, Far Eastern Apparel (Vietnam) Ltd. continued to focus on the use of the primary school, regularly track water quality, and further strengthen equipment to ensure the safety of water supply. This water purification tower not only provides water for students, but also shares it with community residents, benefiting about 4000 people.

        In addition to providing clean water every day, the water purification tower can also transfer the knowledge of safe water use, so that schoolchildren can plant the correct concept of health education from childhood. Therefore, during the impoundment period, the colleagues specially carry out health education courses for local students to lead schoolchildren to understand the harm of germs and the importance of water safety in a fun way, so as to reduce the incidence of diseases.

        While expanding the business scope, FEG still remembers to pay back to the society, implements the faith of protecting the community and employees, and expands the positive energy infinitely. Under the local media reports and word-of-mouth, this charity work has established a positive image for the group and indirectly helped the recruitment of Far Eastern Apparel (Vietnam) Ltd. in Binh Phuoc. The monthly recruitment rate of the community has increased from 8% to 12%, which is a good example for the prosperity of enterprises and communities.
