Logistics transportation under epidemic situation

        2020 was a year of ups and downs. A sudden COVID-19 broke out at the beginning of the year, and then swept the globe. It not only affects people's life safety, but also has a profound impact on the logistics and transportation industry.

        At the beginning of the epidemic, in order to strictly prevent the spread of the epidemic, all parts of China introduced policies to restrict the circulation of people and vehicles, and implemented strict traffic control. At that time, it was the Spring Festival, and the enterprise colleagues had not returned to their hometown during the Spring Festival. After the strict restrictions on vehicle transportation, the logistics transportation of the factory was immediately affected, and the inventory led to unprecedented pressure on logistics.

        Fortunately, our factory actively responded: first, according to the government's prevention and control policies, we arranged the drivers who met the policy requirements to deliver the goods, and actively tracked the driver's whereabouts; second, we contacted with the drivers who returned to hometown to be back to their posts as soon as possible and complete the quarantine as soon as possible and improve the transport capacity reserve; third, we increased the sales of the stock to ease the inventory pressure. Through the above measures, the logistics problems in the early stage of the epidemic were successfully solved.

        As China's epidemic situation is gradually under control, local governments have also introduced policies which are conducive to transportation and logistics, factory logistics and transportation have gradually returned to normal, and the epidemic situation has entered a new normal period of prevention and control. Logistics employees are the group with high risk of infection. How to do a good job of control under the new normal is an important proposition for enterprises to prevent and control the epidemic.

        In response to the government's requirements, the factory implements various control measures. First, it carries out temperature detection for transport drivers, requiring them to provide health code and track the whereabouts; second, it strictly implements the disinfection of transport vehicles, and the vehicles are equipped with various epidemic prevention materials; third, it continuously carries out on-line epidemic prevention and control training for transport drivers to improve their awareness of epidemic prevention and control; fourth, it arranges nucleic acid testing for the drivers to respond to the policy demands of the different regions. The fifth is to encourage drivers to vaccinate as soon as possible. Through various control measures and the joint efforts of the whole plant, "zero infection" was successfully achieved.
