        Far Eastern Resources Development (hereinafter referred to as "Far Eastern Resources Development") was established in 2003. It has been 20 years since then. These years, it has gone through major events affecting the world, such as the financial crisis, the Sino US trade war, the COVID-19, etc. Taiwan has also changed from light industry, OEM manufacturing to today's technology island. The "Taipei Far Eastern Group Communication Park" located in New Taipei City is the witness of industrial transformation.

                The epitome of Taiwan's economic development from textile to capital communication

        Far Eastern Group originated from Banqiao in 1949 and has spanned 10 industries since its inception in textiles for people's livelihoods. The original textile factory site was located in the current "Far Eastern Group Communication Park in Taipei", where factory buildings and chimneys from that time can also be seen. Although the bursts of light smoke that once represented prosperity have transformed into large and pleasant parks and green spaces, as well as modern high-rise buildings, they also drive the development of the region and connect the lifeline of the economy.

        The preservation of chimneys and factory buildings is a response to the history of the group. The Yuanzi team assists the parent company Far Eastern New Century Corporation in revitalizing land resources with land planning expertise, and with forward-looking beliefs, plans groundbreaking development plans. With the liberalization of telecommunications and the group's investment in the telecommunications industry, the positioning of the original Banqiao textile factory area has gradually become clear. With the cooperation of affiliated enterprises and the combination of telecommunications and land development, we have successfully created the first communication professional research and development base in Taiwan - the "Taipei Far Eastern Group Communication Park".

        Forward looking low impact development creates a sustainable foundation

                The Taipei Far Eastern Group Communication Park introduced the concept of low impact development in the early stages of its construction. Twenty years ago, when environmental awareness had not yet fully risen, Douglas Hsu's decision to invest high costs in building rainwater infiltration zones throughout the entire area was truly admirable, considering environmental sustainability and surrounding residents. Nowadays, under the influence of extreme weather, disasters are frequent in various regions, including Taiwan's increasingly frequent floods. Fortunately, the establishment of rainwater infiltration zones in the park not only effectively recycles and reuses natural rainwater, but also reduces the burden on public drainage systems, thereby reducing the probability of floods. For the group, Banqiao is not only a 'starting place', but also carries the hopes of people who have lived and worked on this land. Therefore, we have adopted a more cautious attitude to plan our ideal blueprint and strive to achieve a balance between environmental conservation and resource utilization.

        The park has a green coverage rate of nearly half, which is an extremely rare plan in urban parks. It not only has well-established public facilities, but also hopes to plant a green atmosphere for users, allowing them to easily connect with nature, which helps improve work efficiency and obtain physical and mental comfort. In addition, each building has obtained the Taiwan Green Building emblem and was registered as the first LEED Campus in Taiwan with the globally recognized US Green Building emblem in the early stages of park development, demonstrating a determination to adhere to international green building environmental protection concepts.

        Stable development pace welcomes full lease recognition from tenants

                In 2010, the first research and development office building in the park, TPKA, was completed, with industries including communication, cloud computing, smart technology, digital information, and green energy entering. However, it was not until 2019 that it was close to full occupancy. Part of it comes from the team's standardized conditions for entering the company, and part comes from expectations for oneself, hoping to unleash the benefits of industrial clustering and gather industrial energy for tenants entering the company. Therefore, we are committed to finding like-minded partners to drive the development of the industrial economy together.

        After a long period of accumulation, the "Taipei Far Eastern Group Communication Park" has four research and development office buildings, one residential building, and one three-dimensional parking tower. With the unremitting efforts of the Yuanzi team, the office buildings are almost fully rented. All the foundations come from a forward-looking blueprint and solid practice, in order to create a space that integrates natural environment and industrial development. After all, construction takes time, and the results are not overnight. The Far Eastern team quietly cultivates and follows the founding spirit of Far Eastern Group, which is "diligence, sincerity, simplicity, prudence, and innovation". On Banqiao and other bases, they continue to create a sustainable future for the environment and economy for future generations.

        Multiple land plans to create regional prosperity

        In addition to the Taipei Far Eastern Group Communication Park located in Banqiao, the Far East team is currently promoting large-scale projects in Taoyuan Neili, Yilan Jiaoxi, and New Taipei.

        The "Far Eastern International Bank Conference Center" located next to Yuan Ze University will be designed by the "structural poet" - Spanish master Santiago Calatrava. It is expected to build a performance space that can accommodate thousands of people, and there will also be an art center and memorial hall inside the base, to inject new energy into the ground and become a new art landmark in North Taiwan; There is also a "Far Eastern Group New Neili Factory Development Project", which aims to build a Far Eastern Memorial Hospital branch to provide more comprehensive medical services for South Taoyuan. It is also expected to introduce department stores and residential buildings to connect the development of North and South Taoyuan. Yilan Jiaoxi Land will combine the landscape of Jiaoxi Mountain and Sea to create the "Far Eastern Group Jiaoxi Resort Hotel", creating a high-end enjoyment of an international hot spring resort hotel with spacious garden space. In addition, in order to improve the Group's comprehensive efficiency, the team also integrated the needs of several affiliated enterprises, and planned the idle Wugu Mount Taishan plant area as a "Wugu Logistics Center", hoping to bring faster and better logistics services to the Group and consumers in Greater Taipei.
