Far Eastern Department Stores wins Taiwan Building Sustainability Award

        On April 9th, the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) held the first "Taiwan Building Sustainability Award" ceremony. Far Eastern Department Stores planned for the fourth generation of stores such as Taichung City Far Eastern Department Stores and Banqiao Far Eastern Department Stores, with a focus on "ecology, energy conservation, waste reduction, and health" to create a modern and environmentally friendly department store; The fifth generation Far Eastern Department Stores in Zhubei further implements the concept of "sustainable city" and has become the first ecological green building in Hsinchu County that combines modern parking and Hakka themed shopping mall. It has been awarded the Silver Award for Taiwan's Building Sustainability.
