Activate AI work force, hacker pine stimulates innovation sparks

If you are following the AI industry, you must know that Huang Renxun generously showcased his vision of "AI is the new industrial revolution" at Computex and recommended Google NotebookLM. This super tool that makes files smarter and notes speak is not only loved by tech experts, but also by a wave of NotebookLM trend within Far Eastern New Century Corporation! What will AI look like when it enters our work fields? Rather than imagining, it's better to answer in person, which is exactly the original intention of Far Eastern New Century Corporation's "Corporate Management AI Mobilization - NotebookLM AI Hackathon Competition". With the support of Humphrey Cheng President, the Cybersecurity Department called on colleagues to come up with application scenarios for this tool. The participating teams came from 8 different departments of Corporate Management and submitted a total of 13 brilliant practical proposals, each targeting pain points and engaging in direct competition, becoming an innovative exchange with great practical value.
Pain points come from on-site solutions and creativity
Most of these proposals focus on common but difficult to solve problems in the workplace, such as complex systems, job transfers being like taking credit again, not only exploding data volume, but also requiring manual comparison, coupled with process bottlenecks such as scattered and difficult integration of information, and heavy teaching burden for newcomers. The participating teams use AI to simplify complexity and launch practical helpers. From regulatory inquiries to professional Q&A, from multilingual document analysis to system operation guidelines, transform the most tedious aspects of daily life into intelligent solutions. A team is building an AI Consultant to respond to professional issues such as taxation and insurance at any time; There are also teams that have established intelligent databases to facilitate the quick retrieval of complex human resources processes. These applications precisely address core pain points such as difficult information retrieval, high knowledge barriers, and difficult system operation.
Tools are the medium, creativity and knowledge are the core
What this hackathon truly showcases is not which AI tool is the strongest, but the combination of creativity and practical experience by colleagues to turn AI into a truly problem-solving 'digital employee'. Rather than importing AI, we are creating a new 'digital collaboration model' that transforms knowledge from being stored in PDFs, forms, or the human brain into intelligent nodes that are searchable, interactive, and self-learning. Every system, SOP, and FAQ has the opportunity to be reshaped as a digital employee who is on standby 24 hours a day, not tired, not afraid of repetition, and becomes smarter with each use. These applications are not just for pain relief, but also for the continuous activation, flow, and reuse of knowledge and experience within the organization. AI is the bridge, and what truly makes companies smarter is that colleagues are willing to proactively reorganize their experiences, propose ideas, and create digital employees that belong to their own departments.
Dual track advancement of AI innovation and cybersecurity protection
Although AI brings infinite possibilities to work, as related applications continue to deepen, we also need to simultaneously strengthen the risk control mechanisms for information security management and data usage, so that the introduction of AI can not only improve work efficiency and innovation, but also ensure the integrity and risk control of enterprise information assets. In the future, we will continue to advance from the following aspects:
1. Review and strengthen Far Eastern Group's new guidelines for the use and management of generative AI: inventory usage scenarios and risk boundaries, continuously update normative content, and provide clear guidelines for each colleague when using AI tools.
2. Prohibit uploading confidential or sensitive information to external AI platforms: Emphasize the importance of data risk prevention, guide all units to prioritize using internal AI platforms for application development and experimentation, to ensure that enterprise information is kept within a controllable range.
3. Continuously conduct AI security education and training to enhance the awareness of data protection among all staff: through case sharing, deepen colleagues' understanding of AI usage risks and strengthen correct usage habits.
Innovation is just about to begin after the hackathon
This hackathon also showed us that AI combined with colleagues' deep understanding of business processes can truly solve daily pain points. It can be seen that innovation does not have to wait for special moments. Every colleague's observation and improvement ideas are the driving force for change. In the future, we will continue to promote the introduction of AI, work together with various departments to create more application scenarios, deeply embed digital tools in processes, make knowledge a reusable asset, and enable everyone to create their own 'digital employees'. The next hackathon, or even the next inspiration for process optimization, may start with your questions and actions!
