Far Eastern Department Stores 、 Tainan Far Eastern Group Shangri La, FE SOGO Department stores, Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls respond to the "Earth Hour" campaign

        In response to the global environmental action "Earth Hour", Far Eastern Department Stores, with the theme of "Far Eastern Department Stores' Heart for Sustainability", will connect all branches in Taiwan from 20:30 to 21:30 on March 28th to simultaneously turn off building exterior sign lights and some lights. Far Eastern Department Stores in Kaohsiung will also hold a special "Micro Light Green Cultural and Creative Market", inviting the public to experience the purest tranquility.

        Since its opening, Far Eastern Group Shangri La in Tainan has participated in this event for the 17th consecutive year, turning off the exterior wall lighting and some public area lighting, and moderately adjusting the brightness of the interior lighting, in line with the global initiative for low-carbon living.

        FE SOGO Department stores across 6 stores in Taiwan have also "turned off lights" along with 192 countries and over 18000 world landmarks, turning off exterior and non essential lighting. This time, the lights have been extended to close at 22:00 for a total of 90 minutes, reducing approximately 235.9 kilograms of carbon emissions for the planet.

        Big City Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls not only turned off their sign lights and external light boxes, but also participated in the one hour light off ceremony of the "2026 Wind City Camping Festival" organized by the Hsinchu City government, reminding the public to implement environmental protection and cherish energy in their daily lives.
