         Since 2004, the Asia Cement Corporation has attracted visitors from all walks of life every year with Hualien Butterfly Eco-Park as its ecological environment education base. In 2017, the SROI value of this project was 10.65, which created more than 10 times social benefits for environmental sustainability education.

        Climate Leader Award: Green Sustainable Action Plan for Cement Plant/Mine
         Apart from focusing on Sustainable mines and low-carbon green processes, Asia Cement Corporation also promotes indigenous care and sustainable environmental education. In 2017, mine greening accounted for 70.06% of the mining area. In order to strengthen communication, 1,024 people visited mines. In green process, about 267,000 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced annually, and 70 million yuan will be invested to promote the low-carbon improvement plan of cement grinding. At the same time, on-site demonstration exchanges will be opened to promote energy conservation and carbon reduction in the whole industry. In research and development, special cement is also innovatively introduced to effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
