FE SOGO Department stores promote sustainable green living

        In response to climate change, FE SOGO Department stores have demonstrated channel leadership by launching the "One Hour Light Off Action" for three consecutive years. On June 21, 770 brands and suppliers joined forces to save approximately 1672 kWh of electricity and 792 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO ₂ e), setting a record for the largest and most participating brand energy-saving initiative in Taiwan's department store industry. Sophia C.W. Huang Chairman stated that after the summer solstice, it is the peak period of electricity consumption in Taiwan. FE SOGO Department stores deepen internal and external sustainable cooperation through actions, practicing the corporate mission of "making every customer's consumption contribute to the earth", and inviting stakeholders to take small actions to "let the earth breathe".

        Zhongli store also responded to the sustainable action and joined hands with the Taoyuan City Government Environmental Protection Bureau to hold a series of "Sustainable Green Life~Environmental Education Picture Book Story Time" activities. On June 8th, World Ocean Day, picture book performers were invited to guide children and children to start from daily life and protect the ocean together, attracting many parent-child families to participate. The children listened enthusiastically and attentively, gaining practical environmental knowledge.
