Low carbon double crown king! Asia Cement Corporation's Hualien factory has won both the TSAA Gold Award and the Ministry of Economic Affairs' commendation for outstanding performance

        Asia Cement Corporation's Hualien plant is deeply committed to ESG sustainable governance and is the fourth cement company in the world and the only one in Taiwan to continuously and ahead of SBTi targets. In September 2025, it won the "2025 TSAA Taiwan Sustainable Action Award" gold medal for its "Starting from Mud, Moving Forward with Low Carbon" program. On November 26, it was also awarded the "Outstanding Industrial Greenhouse Gas Reduction Manufacturer" by the Ministry of Economic Affairs for the 11th time, setting an impressive record for the most awards received by factories in Taiwan.

        The Hualien factory has invested over 72000 tons of water quenched blast furnace slag to replace clinker through advanced process technology, successfully reducing carbon emissions by nearly 65000 tons in a single year and implementing a recycled economy in every ton of cement. These two honors prove that Asia Cement Corporation not only has a carbon reduction blueprint that is in line with international standards, but also has solid technical strength. In the future, it will continue to lead the industry chain towards a net zero ecosystem with practical actions.
